Oh sweet, cuddly Charlie. He had just a bit of soft, light hair and lovely features. Calm filled the room as he closed his eyes and slept, warm, secure, so deeply loved.

Oh how I love newborns, each one so unique, born with their own special story. Miss Adele was 8 lbs 13 ounces with gorgeous dark hair and the-best-ever squishy, beautiful lips. Her dad brought some very meaningful props to celebrate his daughter’s Cree heritage – sweet baby girl, brand new addition to the Eagle Nest clan. Sarah and Joey, thanks so much for choosing me to capture Adele’s newborn portraits. I look forward to watching her grow.

Gavin and Oliver were two of the sweetest brothers I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. At about a month old, Oliver was bright and calm, content for our whole session. It was easy to see that Gavin adores him…perhaps almost as much as he loves trains.![]()

Lucky me to spend a morning with these sweet siblings, big brother Adrian, almost 2, and little sister Addison, nearing 4 months. Little charmers, the pair of them.

Did you know that it is currently the Year of the Dragon? A lucky year, a year of opportunity and positive change. The dragon is a symbol of optimism and strength; people born under this Chinese zodiac sign are said to be full of energy – perfectly suiting for Jeron’s arrival. He came to see me for one of my newborn model sessions and I was so pleased to meet this amazing little soul. He was feisty, alert, and definitely a contender for one of the strongest. For most of his session he preferred to be stretched out…and wide awake with a beautiful, intense gaze. When he did close his eyes for just a few moments of very light snoozing, he smiled at us…as if asleep on a pile of treasure.
